Which states have a law that prevents the sale of firearms to minors?
In Florida, the sale and purchase of a handgun is prohibited by the Florida Statutes, Article 18.
It is also illegal for anyone to possess a firearm on private property, as long as they do not have a permit.
The law is particularly relevant in light of a recent spate of mass shootings, which are often blamed on the use of online gambling platforms, particularly on sites like Amazon.com, and online gaming sites, such as Gamersgate.com.
In response, Florida Governor Rick Scott recently signed an executive order barring the sale or transfer of firearms or ammunition to anyone under 18.
The Florida Legislature passed the law in 2014.
The law does not apply to firearms that are legally possessed by the owner, or those owned by a parent, grandparent, or spouse.
