Ubisoft’s new game: ‘Warrior’ for the next generation
- August 24, 2021
Ubisoft’s next big project, “Warrior,” will be available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, publisher Ubisoft said today.
The publisher said the title will be developed by Ubisoft Montreal, which is based in France and is headed by the former Ubisoft Montreal studio chief Yves Guillemot.
Ubisoft said the game will be a “completely new experience,” and it will be released on both Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, starting with the Xbox Live Gold service.
Ubyssey, a service that allows customers to share and collaborate on games, will also be included, and it is the same one that Ubisoft launched for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita last year.
The service is available for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Ubiquiti said the new game will feature a multiplayer game mode, called Warzone, where players will be able to fight over “a huge number of players.”
Ubisoft said players will need to be “at the center of the action” to take down a group of enemies.
Ubimade, a new cloud-based multiplayer service that is available now for Xbox One owners, will allow users to play games on their computers and share them with friends.
Ubipocalypse, a cloud-computing service for games, is also being launched, but it is currently only available for Xbox 360.
UbistoGames, the publisher of the popular Ubisoft-developed title “Assassin’s Creed,” announced a deal with Amazon to develop a new Assassin’s Creed game.
The game will launch this year on the console, and the company will be the exclusive developer on the game.
Ubismat, a game publishing platform that lets people share games with each other, announced that it had signed a contract with Ubisoft for the publishing of Assassin’s Rogue.
